Amanda, your dad put this on for us. We rejoice how you are being used in Alaska.

It was so nice having your family with us. We really had a good time.

Beloved in Christ,
Good day and God bless,
It is with great honour that I write you this email. I am former
Mrs.Memunat Mohamed Galal, now I am Mrs. Rebeka Mohamed Galal a widow
to Late Dr. Mohamed Galal.
I am an old woman; suffering from cancer. From all indications, my
condition is really deteriorating and is quite obvious that I may
notlive long, because the cancer stage has gotten to a very severe
stage.
My late husband died in an air crash on the 31st October 1999
in an Egyptian airline Boeing 990 with other passengers on board. You
can confirm this fact from the website which was aired by the BBC WORLD
NEWS:(http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/502503.stm) and myonly
daughter died in BOMB ATTACK LONDON.
My late husband was very wealthy and after his death, I inherited all
his business and wealth. My personal physician told me that I may not
live for so long and I am so scared about this. So, I now decided to
divide part of this wealth, by contributing to the well being of less
privileged people and handicapped in the society of world America,
Canada,Africa, Europe and Asian Countries,But my previous attempt was
greeted with greed and fraud,by extended family members who were
suppose
to have used thefunds as directed by me,which is while I decided to
contact you now.
This mission, who will no doubt be tasking had made
me to recently relocate to Africa where I live presently. Iselected
you for this Purpose and prayed over it, I am willing to donate the sum
of $19,300,000.00 Million US Dollars to you for the development of the
well being of handicapped in the society and also as aids for the less
privileged around your country, including the humatarian organization
incharge of the New rleans, missisipi Hurricane Katrina disaster in the
USA and i have map out $1, 700.000.00 for your own personal use to
help
me for this work.
Please note that, this fund is lying in a Security Bank.
Therefore immediate application for the transfer of the money in your
name or your home will be filed. Please, do not reply me if you have
the
intention of using this fundfor personal use, than enhancement of the
comfort of the
Handicapped.
Lastly, I want you/your home to be praying for me as regards my entire
life and my health because I have come to find out since my spiritual
birth lately that wealth acquisition without God one'slife isvanity
upon
vanity.
I await your reply.

June 8, 2007

Greetings from St. Louis!

I have contacted some of you asking you to be a part of a prayer support team for me and my family as we are at seminary. For those of you that we have not yet asked please read this e-mail and then let us know if you do not want to receive future letters. It's amazing how much I learned from my internship this summer in Helena. One of the first things that Pastor Steve asked me when I arrived in Helena was, "Do you have a prayer support team?" I knew that I had people who prayed for me but I didn't have a regular team of people who I contacted about specific prayer concerns. He told me that I needed to repent! J Not only was Steve's challenge to me convicting but I also saw how the Lord was working in Helena and it dawned on me that none of the things that happened there would have happened without the prayers of believers Steve had called upon. So let me begin with a list of ways that you can pray for us this week.

Pray that as a family we would gain a deeper understanding of God's grace. Too often in our lives we can be trying to earn God's favor and not even be aware of it. Learning more about his grace teaches us to learn to trust in him and love one another rightly.

Pray for our marriage that it would grow more in love for one another. That we would by God's grace set an example for our children of a godly marriage.

Pray for Katie and her pregnancy. Her pregnancies have always been challenging. Right now she has been having migraines daily.

Pray for me as I attend classes that they would be productive and that I would become a more sharpened tool for serving the Lord. Right now all of us are under the weather. Coughing and sneezing and struggling to sleep well.

Pray that God would continue to unfold the direction that he has for us in future ministry after graduation. Pray for the Sunday school class that I will be leading at my church for the next 8 weeks on Biblical Peacemaking.

Pray that it would cultivate a culture of peace within Memorial PCA.

Pray for my children that their faith would become evident sooner rather than later.

Some of these requests are general but we really need prayer continually for these things. As I update you in the future I will be more specific at times. For right now we wanted to start here. Thank you for your prayers. You may not feel like you are an intercessory warrior and that is ok. Maybe when you get this email just pray for these requests as you read them. I found that that is what helps me to remember to pray for others when they write. Thank you again for taking the time to read this and pray for us.

God bless you and Lord willing we will talk you soon!

July 17, 2007

Rapid City, SD Just had my prescreening interview today (Friday July 6) for the Assessment Center and I received a green light, so now we finish the application process for the September 10-13 Assessment. We'd appreciate your prayers in this whole process. As I shared with you a couple of days ago, in order for us to have time to raise support for the ministry to the Lakota here in South Dakota, we needed God's provision for some tent-making opportunity. I decided to talk to a woman in our congregation who has a marketing company here to see if there might be an opportunity for sales or marketing work. She had a shocked look on her face and said, "I just drew up this job description last night!! If you want the position, you've got it!" They are supportive of the Lakota ministry and are willing to work around our fund-raising schedule. The steps at this point, appear to be the following:
1. Finish the application process for the Assessment Center
2. Complete a 1st draft of a ministry proposal to be used in sharing the vision with potential financial/prayer supporters.
3. Assessment Center (Sept 10-13)
4. Meet with our Presbytery (a ministry "call" for this position would come from them) the end of September.
5. God's blessing and "green light", we'll begin the process of raising support.

Please pray for the things above, plus my ability to do well in the marketing/sales work so we will have time to raise support. Pray especially for discernment for us as we fine-tune what we believe God would have us do among the Lakota. This is not a conventional ministry. Much bridge-building work must be done. We're considering especially, the need for support-type ministries to address the extremely high rates of substance and sexual abuse. Pray especially that we can live fruitfully among this wonderful people in ways that show our respect and love for them. Pray also for a week of Vacation Bible School the end of July. Our congregation is joining together with a Lakota congregation to staff the VBS... it should be an awesome week of getting to know one another, and reaching out to the Lakota children in the neighborhood around their church building. We'll keep you posted as more things happen! Thanks for your ministry, Bruce and Linda! We have been considering this type of ministry for quite a while, but God used your ministry presence as coordinators of the First Nations ministry to "push us over the edge". Be encouraged! God is using you in great ways!

Love, Ron and Sue

We have gotten all of our personality tests done and are waiting on our references to come in to the MNA office by August 13 the deadline, so that we can be considered for the Assessment Center in September. Please continue to pray for God's direction in this ministry, we do not want to get in His way. We are making contacts here in Rapid City with Lakota Christians a wonderful answer to prayer. Thanks Sue and Ron Jensen
